Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Paediatric Dietitian to join our dynamic team at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. This rotational dietitian position offers the opportunity to gain broad experience in Paediatric Dietetics, working across various specialities.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year's paediatric experience or a good grounding in Dietetics, along with a passion to learn about paediatrics within a tertiary unit. They should be computer literate and have excellent communication and organisational skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Providing comprehensive hospital services, including education and training to healthcare professionals, carers and other workers involved in the care of referred children.
  • Working as part of a multi-professional team, undertaking clinics, ward rounds, meetings and audits.
  • Developing and maintaining expertise in paediatric dietetics, staying up-to-date with current best practice and research.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Good grounding in previous post as a qualified Dietitian.
  • Experience working as part of a multi-professional team.
  • Student training experience.
  • Ability to work with supervision.
  • Experience working with enteral feeding (Ketogenic & Neurosciences Dietitian).

Estimated Salary: £35,500 - £41,250 per annum
