About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Electronics Specialist - Emergency Lighting and Sensors to join our team at Tridonic's site in Spennymoor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing New Technologies: Design and develop innovative solutions for emergency lighting and sensors.
  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Product Development, Purchasing, Production, and R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of cutting-edge technologies.
  • Fostering a Culture of Innovation: Encourage and support team members in their professional development, promoting a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Providing Expert Guidance: Offer technical expertise to resolve complex challenges and ensure efficient project execution.
  • Staying Ahead of the Curve: Engage with the global organization, stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies, and maintain a competitive edge.

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Electronics or Physics.
  • Substantial experience in electronic design in a comparable field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in concept designing and developing Switch Mode Power Supplies.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • A results-driven and innovative approach.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum.
