Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at a luxury Nursing Home in Knutsford, Cheshire. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in assisting the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the provision of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Home Manager in managing the operations of the home, including overseeing the care staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Take charge of the home in the absence of the Home Manager, ensuring continuity of care and management.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the care team, ensuring the needs of our residents are met.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with external care professionals, families, and visitors.
  • Promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating care plans.

Requirements:

  • NMC registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience.
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and provide excellent care.
  • Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
