About the Role:

  • Job Title: Youth Care Professional
  • Salary: £13.38 - £26.76 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
  • Location: Exeter
  • Working Hours: 08:00-23:00, Sleep-in shift from 07:00-08:00

Responsibilities:

  • Support children in their daily activities and interests, promoting independence and overall wellbeing.
  • Participate in weekend trips, holidays, and other events with the children, fostering meaningful relationships.
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of care plans and guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.
  • Offer emotional and practical support to children, helping them navigate challenging situations.

Requirements:

  • A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children.
  • Empathetic and caring nature, with at least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar Social Care setting.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence and Enhanced DBS clearance (or willing to obtain).
  • The right to work in the UK.
