We are seeking an experienced Secure Children's Home Assistant to join our team at Charles Hunter Associates. This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for working with young people in care or the justice system.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing education and training support to young people aged 10-17 in a secure children's home environment. The unit offers care and support to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, and the ideal candidate will have experience working in similar settings.

The role requires someone who can work effectively in a challenging environment, providing intensive support and intervention as needed. You will also have the opportunity to work on vocational skills and life skills with the young people.

As a Secure Children's Home Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the young people's safety and well-being at all times. You will work closely with other staff members to create a supportive and nurturing environment.

The salary for this position is estimated to be £25,992 - £27,711 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include a secure unit allowance of £687 annually and local authority employer benefits.
