Group Head of Procurement – Insight Select, £120,000 + bonus and benefits

Overview:

A leading financial services company is seeking a Group Head of Procurement to lead all elements of group procurement, including physical and software assets, within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee high-value procurement and contract management
  • Lead and develop a team of procurement professionals
  • Manage the group's asset management strategy
  • Develop and expand the procurement system to drive efficiency and cost savings
  • Develop and deliver the global procurement strategy to support business objectives
  • Build relationships with key suppliers and lead the supplier management process
  • Collaborate with global procurement to deliver corporate objectives while meeting regional requirements and strategies
  • Negotiate contracts to ensure best commercial terms are achieved
  • Ensure SLAs and maintenance contracts are in place
  • Work with colleagues to ensure compliance with ISO standards and audit requirements
  • Ensure asset lifecycle management is maintained

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Certified in Procurement and Supply (CIPS) or equivalent
  • Experience in IT procurement and asset lifecycle management
  • Contract and service management experience
  • Proven track record of managing and developing a team
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 technologies
  • Experience with Service Now asset management and reporting is a plus
