Job Description

At Tata Technologies, we empower product development by designing, engineering, and validating innovative products for leading manufacturers worldwide.

We are seeking a skilled Trainer to join our team at a customer site in Gaydon, delivering classroom-based training on engineering systems such as PLM, VIS, CAD, and BOM.

Our customer is a prominent Automotive company, and their PLM Department is responsible for all aspects of PLM ToolSet selection, implementation, deployment, use, and support for the business.

We are looking for experienced trainers with extensive knowledge of the Dassault Systèmes 3DExperience toolset in the areas of PLM, VIS, CAD, and Bill Of Materials (BOM).

As a Trainer at Tata Technologies, you will be responsible for developing the competence of our customer's employees by participating in the development, delivery, and evaluation of learning and development events, with a focus on induction and continuing professional development.

You will conduct needs assessments, identify performance gaps, and implement training best practices to ensure alignment with company needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop curriculum and design training courses for ALM Toolset Modules (Jira, XRAY) for requirement management and Test management from system engineering
  • Administer training with the ability to deliver, project, and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies both online and offline (if required) in group and individual classroom dynamics
  • Conduct needs assessment and identify performance gaps and implementing training best practices to ensure alignment with company needs
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to create industry-specific course content
  • Evaluate success of training implementation by assessing achievement of learning objectives and transfer of knowledge to continuously improve training solutions and identify future learning needs
  • Utilize a variety of techniques, concepts, and development and delivery of training programs and strategies
  • Critically examining the trainees' understanding and progress and making necessary adjustments to the program

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Experience in delivering training on Engineering systems
  • Working knowledge of IBM ALM Toolset for automotive is preferred
  • Configuration knowledge of Jira/XRAY added advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office (esp. e-learning software is an asset)
  • Functional experience in product development in Automotive domain
