Dynamic Commissioning Planning Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Commissioning Planner to join our team at V7 Recruitment. This role promises a dynamic work environment where excellence is recognized and rewarded.

In this pivotal position, you will provide crucial support to our clients and team members as an execution planner. The ideal candidate will possess a meticulous attention to detail, be a self-starter, and have a proactive approach to problem-solving.

A solid background in building schedules, ideally in the data center industry or other mission-critical sectors, is highly desirable. Strong technical knowledge of P6 Primavera and the ability to manage deliverables correctly are essential.

Main Responsibilities
  • Act as Commissioning Planner within a technical team of Head of Planning and Commissioning Engineers.
  • Manage and liaise with multiple stakeholders, including Clients, Contractors, Vendors, and Operational teams.
  • Produce documents or contribute to schedule narratives detailing Commissioning schedule requirements.
  • Produce new Commissioning schedules based on system logic diagrams for sequencing.

The successful candidate may be required to review elements of construction to ensure other stakeholders are informed of the Commissioning schedule requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • P6 Primavera training is essential.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of solid scheduling experience, preferably in the data center industry or other mission-critical sectors.
  • Strong schedule discipline background, ideally in MEP services or similar.
  • Ability to travel in Europe on an ad-hoc basis to sites and key projects.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
  • Familiarity with other scheduling software, such as Microsoft Project and Smartsheets.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
