Building Commissioning Specialist

This role is an exciting opportunity to join HDR as a Senior Building Commissioning Agent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing commissioning activities on projects, ensuring that buildings are delivered to the highest standards.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and coordination between the client and HDR teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage commissioning activities, adhering to budgeted man-hours and executing services efficiently.
- Coordinate with clients and contractors to schedule commissioning activities, including plans, pre-functional checklists, functional performance tests, training plans, O&M, record document, and shop drawing reviews, and opposed season testing.
- Must have experience in engineering, either as a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or a field technician with excellent understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, HVAC controls, the Testing and Balancing (T&B) process, etc.
- Strong computer skills, effective typing skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work with others, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, systems engineering, operations fundamentals, contracting, and general business operations.
- Able to understand project accounting and financial management tools, and familiar with organization design documents, preparation of multidiscipline designs, and delivery of design & construction services.

What We Offer- A competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
