About the Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Chef Apprentice to join our team at Greene King. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, while also developing your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook and present food that meets our high standards and customer expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products, menus and promotions.

Apprenticeship Details

Our 15-month Chef Apprenticeship program includes:

  • A mixture of face-to-face and remote catch-ups to discuss feedback and progress.
  • On-the-job training, including workshops and webinars.
  • Regular reviews with your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Trainer.
  • The opportunity to gain Functional Skills in English and maths (if required).
  • A Chef Apprenticeship Qualification upon completion of the program.
