About the Role

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Chef Apprentice to join our team at Greene King. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food that meets our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and present food that meets our specifications and customer expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen to ensure the well-being of our team and customers.
  • Communicate effectively with your team to provide excellent customer service and ensure timely delivery of meals.
  • Stay up-to-date with new products, menus, and promotions to provide our customers with the best possible experience.

What You'll Learn
  • A mixture of face-to-face and remote training sessions to discuss feedback and progress.
  • On-the-job training, including workshops and webinars.
  • Regular reviews with your Line Manager and Apprenticeship Trainer.
  • The chance to gain Functional Skills in English and maths (if you don't already have GCSEs).
  • A Chef Apprenticeship Qualification upon completion of the 15-month program.
