English and Maths Tutor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English and Maths Tutor to join our team at Get Further Ltd. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to develop the skills they need to pass gateway qualifications and unlock opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver bespoke tuition to students with SEN in small-group sessions of 1-3 students
- Support students to develop the skills they need to pass gateway qualifications
- Work collaboratively with students and college staff to support student progress and success
- Embed the values of Get Further Ltd in every aspect of the role
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Minimum C grade in GCSE English (or equivalent)
- Relevant A-level or equivalent qualification at grade B or above
- Commitment to safeguarding and protecting student wellbeing
- £18 per hour of tuition delivered plus holiday pay
- 2 full days of paid training delivered by subject specialists
- Resources provided for tuition sessions, with full training on how to deliver them effectively
- Expert training and professional development opportunities to build teaching skills and other key transferable skills
