Diagnostic Imaging Physicist Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Nuclear Medicine department as a Diagnostic Imaging Expert. This role involves working within a friendly, multi-disciplinary team of physicists, technologists, nurses, radiologists, and admin staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the day-to-day supervision of trainee technical staff assigned to Nuclear Medicine, assisting in the delivery of work-based training. They will also provide expert knowledge in the field of Nuclear Medicine, ensuring that Standard Operating Protocols and other relevant legislation are followed.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technologist or radiographer with an interest in Nuclear Medicine or a physics graduate looking to move into a career in healthcare science.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide physics support to a high-quality Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine Service.
- Assist in the development of new protocols and workflows used in imaging procedures and data processing.
- Participate in the maintenance of complex Nuclear Medicine equipment.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Benefits include a competitive pension scheme, annual leave entitlement, and opportunities for professional development.
