Job Title: Sales & Events Executive for Luxury Hotel in Co Kerry

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Events Executive to join our award-winning team in this ultra-luxury hotel nestled in the beautiful surroundings of Co Kerry. If you have a passion for sales and love organizing events, this could be the ideal role for you.

About the Role:
  • Identify and qualify new leads and opportunities for the hotel by arranging meetings, presentations, and site visits to showcase the facilities.
  • Undertake proactive sales calls/activities via email, in person, or online with clients as outlined and planned within the Sales & Marketing Plan.
  • Promote and generate new business for transient, group, meetings, and wedding segments.
  • Represent the hotel at networking/industry events when required.
  • Manage and co-host client events in conjunction with the sales team.
  • Database management with a focus on growing and segmenting contacts for better communication.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities and revenue generated.
  • Prepare and present customized event proposals and quotations.
  • Ensure all client requirements are met and accurately documented.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's event and operational teams to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
About You:
  • Previous experience in a hotel/hospitality setting in the sales/events department.
  • A positive attitude and a highly focused and disciplined individual.
  • A good entrepreneur and someone who gets a buzz from being competitive and has the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A strong personality and the ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • The ability to maintain and develop customer relations.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and to face new situations with enthusiasm.
