Job Title: Chef Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef Manager to join our team at WSH Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation in our schools and colleges.

About the Role:

This is a hands-on role that requires a strong passion for food and service. You will be working closely with your team to deliver nutritionally balanced and tasty meals to our students and staff. Your excellent communication skills and ability to lead by example will be essential in maintaining a positive and productive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a small team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our students and staff.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and control food costs to achieve budget targets.
  • Collaborate with our procurement team to source high-quality ingredients and supplies.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an education or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Basic IT skills and ability to use kitchen management software.
