About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Optometrist to join our team at University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a Specialist Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality eye care services to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of optometric duties, including assessing patients with complex eye conditions, providing specialist eye care services, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.
Requirements
- BSc Optometry qualification
- Registration with the General Optical Council
- 2 years' experience in all aspects of clinical optometry
- Evidence of clinical development
- Desirable: experience in contact lenses and low vision aids
