Job Summary:


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Systems Modelling Engineer to join the Raytheon Assured Position Navigation and Timing (APNT) Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for producing Digital GPS Anti-Jam Systems and Alternative Navigation Solutions for the military market.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Support the System Design Authority and Systems Engineering Team Leaders with the development and management of project requirements
  • Generate technical documentation, perform systems analysis and design work, and participate in technical design reviews
  • Support the Systems Team in the generation of bid proposal material and submission of bids in response to customer requests
  • Model in Simulink and MATLAB using model-based design techniques, produce parts of a complex model, implement algorithms within the model, and verify auto-code
  • Carry out performance assessments and document the model

Candidate Requirements:



  • Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle from requirements through to certification
  • Experience with Simulink for design analysis and test of system and software architectures
  • Experience with MATLAB for data analysis, algorithm development, and model creation
  • Experience with generation of technical documentation (internal and for customers)
  • Understanding of policies, practices, and procedures, and the ability to communicate these to their team
  • Ability to work in a team and perform to project directives
  • Ability to work autonomously, with limited oversight from Team Leaders and Management
  • Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics) or similar
  • Eligible or current holder of SC security clearance
