The Repository Infrastructure Framework is a complex engineering project being delivered on the Nuclear Waste Services Low Level Waste Repository site. We're seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of this project.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and endorsing Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans
- Implementing quality processes to ensure timely and appropriate quality support
- Conducting quality audits of site activities and subcontractor operations
- Oversight of subcontractors and compilation of lifetime records
- Maintenance of package status and progress reporting
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Experience working in a QA function or QC function within the nuclear sector
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and Sellafield CQRM
- ISO 9001 Lead auditor certification
- CQI membership
