The Repository Infrastructure Framework is a significant project for our Nuclear Waste Services Low Level Waste Repository site at Drigg in Cumbria. We're seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the success of this project.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and endorsing Quality Plans and Inspection and Test Plans, and undertaking associated compliance verification activities.
  • Implementing processes for timely and appropriate Quality support.
  • Conducting Quality audits of site activities and sub-contractor operations, in accordance with the Project Audit Schedule.
  • Ensuring the quality standards of the Project are consistently met, and raising authorized project documentation where necessary.
  • Oversight of subcontractors, compilation and review of lifetime records.
  • Concurrent maintenance of package status and progress reporting, raising issues and liaising with the project and client QA/QC team.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience working in a QA function or QC function within the nuclear sector.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems and Sellafield CQRM.
  • ISO 9001 Lead auditor certification.
  • CQI membership.
