Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience).

Location: Edinburgh

Working Hours: 36 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Fri 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

Assignment Length: 6 months

Driver Preference: Drivers preferred due to city-wide coverage

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our Children’s Services team. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of child development principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals providing high-quality services to children and families
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to organizational standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to ensure seamless service provision

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Child Development, Education, Social Work)
  • Proven experience in leadership or management roles, preferably in a similar field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
