About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at Little Harbour, a children's hospice in St Austell. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality, home-cooked meals and snacks for children and families during their stays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a range of meals and snacks for children and families
  • Work collaboratively with our kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a professional kitchen environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A current basic food hygiene certificate
  • A recognised catering qualification (or willingness to undertake this)
