Submarine Inspection Expert

This role is an exciting opportunity to join BAE Systems as a Submarine Inspection Expert, working at the forefront of submarine construction. As part of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for identifying flaws and rectifying defects, ensuring that every submarine we produce is fit for purpose and ready for its mission.
You will work closely with experienced inspectors, learning directly from them and developing your skills in cutting-edge inspection methods such as Magnetic Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), and ultrasonic testing (UT).
The successful candidate will have approximately 60% of their time spent on practical inspections and 40% on desk-based tasks like data management and reporting.
With a competitive salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience, and benefits including a pension scheme, employee share plans, and private health plans, this is a great opportunity for career advancement.
