- Contribute to a positive service environment, promoting a culture of safety, stability, and well-being for our customers.
- Ensure the implementation of Look Ahead's Health and Safety policies and protocols, maintaining a safe environment for customers, colleagues, and visitors.
- Deliver personalized support to enable customers to develop independent living skills, including practical tasks, personal care, and financial management.
- Champion a positive local culture within the service, promoting social inclusion and community engagement.
- Participate in support planning, risk management, and assessment of needs, working collaboratively with the team to ensure effective case work management.
- Engage with customers to promote social inclusion, encouraging them to maximize their skills and choices.
- Involve customers in the design, development, and delivery of the service through co-production, ensuring their voices are heard and valued.
- Use accessible communication methods to ensure customers understand and can make informed choices.
- Report and support any observations relating to customer welfare, maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
We are looking for an individual with good values and a strong personality, who is trustworthy, able to work in partnership, and willing to achieve outstanding outcomes. You should be capable of working as part of a team, able to use initiative, and have a practical and logical mind. You should also be confident, motivated, and have good self-esteem, with a can-do attitude and a passion for your career and job experiences.
Requirements- Relevant sector work experience and good values.
- IT skills.
- Demonstrable experience of supporting vulnerable adults with learning disabilities.
- NVQ Level in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or willingness to complete the qualification.
