Make a positive impact in someone's life by joining The Richmond Fellowship Scotland as a Support Practitioner in our Liberton service. You'll help individuals achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

We offer flexible contracts, including Full Time, Part Time, and Bank positions within the Liberton Team. Our service provides support to a young man who wants to engage with his community. We need proactive and talkative individuals to support this person in attending hobbies like the gym, football, and socializing.

You don't need prior experience in care; we'll invest in your qualifications and provide comprehensive training through our award-winning learning & development team before you start.

About the Role:

Your responsibilities as a Support Practitioner may include:

Social Support - Assisting individuals to participate in community activities, such as day centers, cinema, swimming, and other leisure pursuits.

Personal Care - Supporting people to maintain their well-being by promoting personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, arranging visits with healthcare professionals, and incontinence care.

Practical Support - Helping individuals to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks, such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping.

All successful Support Practitioner applicants will receive a conditional offer, subject to satisfactory references and PVG clearance. New staff members will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of their start date.
