About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Computing Solutions Engineer to join our team at AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating large-scale cloud computing infrastructure to support our customers' technical needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and architect new and existing systems to meet the growing demand for cloud services
  • Develop and deploy scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure to support our customers' applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and implement solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal customers and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our cloud infrastructure remains competitive and innovative
Requirements
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 1+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
  • 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems, and hands-on systems engineering experience
  • Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
