About the Role
DUNBAR EDUCATION is seeking an experienced and motivated PSHE Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons focused on personal, social, health, and economic education, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to navigate their lives with confidence and resilience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver engaging PSHE lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of SEN students.
- Foster self-esteem and social skills, helping students build their independence and confidence.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create individual learning plans and adapt teaching methods.
Requirements
- A teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or equivalent) and experience in PSHE or a related subject.
- Experience: Proven ability to work effectively with SEN students, particularly those who may exhibit challenging behaviour.
- Passion: A genuine commitment to the personal development and wellbeing of young people.
Salary Information
The salary for this role is estimated to be around £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
