Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Engineering Consultant to join our Asset Performance Services business line. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering world-class safety solutions to our clients, leveraging your expertise in safety and risk management techniques, processes, and concepts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of safety projects to schedule, quality, and budget, while meeting client and corporate expectations.
  • Provide independent and assured safety advice to clients, ensuring compliance with UK safety legislation and MOD safety policy.
  • Develop and manage hazard logs, facilitate HAZID and hazard review meetings, and author safety assessment/safety case reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the safe operation of assets and systems.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in safety and risk management, with a strong understanding of UK MOD safety regulation, policy, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and accreditation.
