Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our Inclusion Team as a Behaviour Support Assistant. This part-time position will commence in October 2024.

Job Purpose:
  • To ensure the well-being and safety of all students
  • To support the implementation of systems and strategies for students exhibiting challenging behaviour
  • To contribute to a reduction in internal fixed term exclusions
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the internal exclusion facility
  • Support the development of pupils with their personal development and behaviour
  • Collaborate with the Inclusion Team to implement behaviour support strategies
Requirements:
  • Good level of Maths and English, GCSE grade C and above
  • Excellent ICT skills
  • Resilience and ability to cope in a busy environment
  • Background in youth work or schools an advantage
