Interior Architect Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Architect to join our team at POD People (UK) for a 3-6 month project. The successful candidate will have strong technical drawing skills and experience in generating fully resolved production-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and maintain drawings for the project, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
  • Manage the project drawing, updating it throughout the project to ensure that drawings are up to date.
  • Liaise and brief external sub-contractors.
  • Oversee and assist with design and finishes schedules.

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of technical details and forms, diverse materials, and materials technology.
  • Knowledge of commercial and industrial build processes.
  • Bespoke fabrication in joinery, metal, and plastics, and integration of 3rd party equipment (AV, Control, Cabling, etc).
  • Proficient in Auto CAD.
  • Good knowledge of UK construction laws and regulations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and organisational skills.
  • A good team player and capable of working independently.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of FF&E.
  • Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
