We are seeking a skilled Designer to join our team in Surrey, supporting the project management team in their office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a family-run SME in the commercial refurbishment and fitting out market.
Key Responsibilities- Produce drywall and ceiling construction details, including management of the design process.
- Develop technical drawings, complying with current CDM Regulations and applicable laws.
- Attend site meetings to coordinate and resolve technical issues.
- Produce comprehensive drawing packages and undertake site surveys as required.
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers, and build relationships with contractors and architects.
- UK-based experience of creating 2D & 3D detailed CAD drawings for the construction industry.
- Experience in Interior Fit out or any other Architectural discipline with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADDuct, Inventor or AEC and 3D CAD.
- Working knowledge of planning/building control issues/regulations.
- Minimum 2-5+ years' experience in a commercial office fit-out environment in a similar role.
A competitive salary from £30,000 to £50,000 based on experience, plus benefits including pension, 23 days per year plus bank holidays, and the opportunity to gain experience & training and gain more responsibility.
You will need the right to work in the UK. Sponsorship of overseas candidates is not available.
