About the Role

Livewell Southwest CIC is seeking a Behavioural Care Consultant to join our team. This Band 5 position offers a unique opportunity to work with individuals with learning disabilities and their carers, providing functional behaviour assessment, data analysis, formulation, and care planning as part of a team delivering Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approaches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive behaviour assessments, working closely with the MDT to develop and implement PBS plans that meet clinical responsibilities and agreed standards.
  • Use data analysis to inform PBS planning, contributing to the development of the Community Learning Disabilities Team and promoting evidence-based practice.
  • Report regularly to the Group Manager/Clinical Lead for Positive Behaviour Support, including participation in caseload supervision, formal appraisals, and management supervision.
  • Engage in continuing professional development activities, staying current with best practices in PBS and its application.
  • Promote equality and inclusion, ensuring that services are accessible and non-discriminatory, considering the diverse needs of individuals.
