Clinical Deputy General Manager Job Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical leader to join our team as a Clinical Deputy General Manager. This role requires an active nurse pin with the NMC and offers a competitive salary of £75,000 per annum.

Job Summary

The Clinical Deputy General Manager will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, staff supervision, quality assurance, and administrative support to our clinical and care teams. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a vital role in supporting our members' well-being and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership and Management
  1. Develop and implement strategies to promote safe and effective service delivery.
  2. Work closely with the General Manager to monitor and report on service quality.
  3. Lead by example, promoting good clinical and care governance practice.
Staff Supervision and Development
  1. Supervise and develop the skills of rehab centre managers, nurses, and care coordinators.
  2. Mentor and train new staff to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
  3. Conduct performance evaluations and create development plans to enhance staff skills and competencies.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
  1. Ensure the home meets all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  2. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain high standards of care.
  3. Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Care & Compliance to implement quality improvement initiatives.
Administrative and Operational Support
  1. Assist with budgeting, resource management, and inventory control.
  2. Support the General Manager in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have an active nurse pin with the NMC, experience in clinical leadership and management, and a strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards.
