Clinical Deputy General Manager Job Opportunity
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical leader to join our team as a Clinical Deputy General Manager. This role requires an active nurse pin with the NMC and offers a competitive salary of £75,000 per annum.
Job SummaryThe Clinical Deputy General Manager will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, staff supervision, quality assurance, and administrative support to our clinical and care teams. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a vital role in supporting our members' well-being and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership and Management
- Develop and implement strategies to promote safe and effective service delivery.
- Work closely with the General Manager to monitor and report on service quality.
- Lead by example, promoting good clinical and care governance practice.
- Supervise and develop the skills of rehab centre managers, nurses, and care coordinators.
- Mentor and train new staff to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
- Conduct performance evaluations and create development plans to enhance staff skills and competencies.
- Ensure the home meets all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain high standards of care.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Director of Care & Compliance to implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Assist with budgeting, resource management, and inventory control.
- Support the General Manager in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
The ideal candidate will have an active nurse pin with the NMC, experience in clinical leadership and management, and a strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards.
