About the Role

Loveday & Co. offers a unique opportunity for an experienced and ambitious clinical leader to join their team as a Clinical Deputy General Manager. Based in Woking, Surrey, this role requires an active nurse pin with the NMC.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to provide leadership and support for clinical and care colleagues. As a Clinical Deputy General Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our members' well-being and independence. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, staff supervision, quality assurance, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Leadership and Management
  1. Provide leadership and support for clinical and care colleagues, promoting safe and effective service delivery.
  2. Work closely with the General Manager to formulate strategies for service development and implementation.
  3. Develop monitoring and reporting systems to promote high-quality services.
  4. Ensure accurate records and communication systems are maintained and effectively used by colleagues.
Staff Supervision and Development
  1. Supervise rehab centre managers, nurses, and care coordinators on a day-to-day basis and through formal clinical supervision.
  2. Maintain skills and knowledge to ensure care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence.
  3. Assist in the recruitment, training, and mentorship of nursing and care staff.
  4. Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and create development plans to enhance staff skills and competencies.
Quality Assurance and Compliance
  1. Ensure the home adheres to regulatory and accreditation standards.
  2. Conduct regular audits, clinical reviews, and risk assessments to maintain high standards of care.
  3. Work closely with the General Manager and Director of Care & Compliance to implement quality improvement initiatives.
Administrative and Operational Support
  1. Assist with budgeting, resource management, and inventory control.
  2. Support the General Manager in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have an active nurse pin with the NMC and experience in clinical leadership and management. A strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards is essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
