About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients with chronic respiratory conditions, including COPD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation plans for patients with COPD and other chronic respiratory conditions.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals.
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management and self-care techniques.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of pulmonary rehabilitation programs and services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of program effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate experience in a variety of clinical specialties, including respiratory care.
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate patients and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and proactive approach.
  • Full driving license and access to own transport.
