Sugarman Health & Wellbeing Limited is currently seeking a Care Support Specialist to provide assistance to an individual with autism, schizophrenia, and challenging behaviors in a home setting.

This individual has a passion for video games and enjoys listening to dance music. The support is provided on a 4:1 basis, and he frequently engages in community activities and enjoys long drives. He participates in farm activities, including feeding animals and maintaining the environment. Additionally, he enjoys visiting cafes for refreshments. At times, he may exhibit challenging behaviors, requiring staff support to help him self-regulate.

Key Responsibilities of the Care Support Specialist:

  • Assisting the individual in maximizing their independence.
  • Facilitating community engagement, including trips to parks and favorite eateries.
  • Encouraging participation in indoor activities such as video gaming.
  • Promoting essential life skills, including cooking, cleaning, and home maintenance.

Position Details:

Hourly Rate: £13 per hour (Enhanced rate on Bank Holidays)

Location: Doncaster

Available Shifts: Days & Nights

Specialization: Autism and Mental Health
