About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physiotherapist to join our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Team at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT. As a Specialist Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care to patients with chronic respiratory conditions, including COPD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with COPD and other chronic respiratory conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Lead and participate in multidisciplinary teams to deliver pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the evaluation of program effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Post-graduate experience in a variety of clinical specialties, including respiratory care.
  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Diploma/Degree in physiotherapy and registration with the HCPC.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate patients and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and proactive approach.
