Spirits Demand Planning Specialist

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of the UK FMCG market and at least 4 years of experience in demand planning. Strong knowledge of forecasting and ERP systems, particularly Oracle, is also required.
Job Description
The Demand Planner will be responsible for gathering, analysing, recording and tracking finished goods demand within the UK and Ireland. This role works closely with the commercial, supply planning, customer service and marketing teams to ensure that customer demand is met and optimal inventory levels are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and analyse forecasts received from sales teams and system-generated data to support supply planning and importing of goods.
- Support the development and implementation of improved forecasting through the S&OP process.
- Regularly check for slow-moving and obsolete finished goods risks, report and follow up by actively working with sales teams.
- Maintain forecast demand within the Atlas planning system to support operational plans.
- Build excellent working relationships with commercial, marketing and finance team members.
- Check for potential stock-outs due to changes in demand or delays in supply and take immediate action to ensure product availability.
- Closely work with new product development teams to support new product launch plans and timelines.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
