About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to join our Branded Websites Product team at BBC Studios. As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in developing websites and digital offerings for some of our most loved global brands, including children's brand Bluey and home-grown British brands like Doctor Who.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owning the product backlog and ensuring that development tickets contain full detail, ready for development against the quarterly plan.
  • Working with the development team to prioritise, trouble-shoot and resolve live, urgent issues.
  • Partnering with UX to ensure that we adopt a product-led approach to create experiences that are useful, usable and feasible for our audiences.
  • Working with engineering to understand solutions and feasibility and to ensure high standards of quality.
  • Measuring the success of our initiatives by working closely with our data and audience teams to perform data analysis and derive actionable insights.
Requirements
  • Good attention to detail applied to the detail of requirements, solutions and data, while being able to keep your awareness of the broader context of the roadmap and goals.
  • Basic knowledge of agile software development methodologies and tools.
  • Comfortable using analytics reporting tools to perform product analysis and identify the most meaningful metrics to aid data-informed decision making.
Desirable
  • Prior digital experience either working in product management roles or similar/adjacent roles in the product and technology sector.
  • Experience applying Agile methodologies and product/project tools, and working in an in-house product team.
  • Experience of working in the digital media or publishing space.
