About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Contractor Compliance Specialist to join our team at Western Power. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring that external contractors working on behalf of Western Power comply with our Contract Management Framework and all contractual compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a high level of compliance to, and consistent application of, the Contract Management Framework and all contractual compliance obligations and requirements.
  • Manage and develop relationships with external contracting companies and stakeholders to deliver Western Power's contractual works effectively and efficiently.
  • Responsible for ensuring site-specific safety management, environmental management, quality assurance, and documentation to validate claims and variation requests.
  • Influence the outcomes and quality of the Contractor's performance by drawing on specialized experience to make recommendations.
  • Exercise independence in giving sound advice to the site Contractor based on specialized experience.

About You

We are looking for someone with a relevant electrical trade or engineering, contract management, or HSE qualification, and at least 5-6+ years of solid experience in power and/or heavy industry planning, construction, operation, commissioning, and maintenance.
