We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead our Functional Skills Hub at HMP Brixton.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • To lead a team of six colleagues within the Education Department of approximately 22 staff.
  • Contribute to the development of a CPD plan for your team, with the Local Education Manager.
  • Accountable for quality assurance and quality improvement across curriculum areas.

Requirements

  • A teaching qualification - minimum Cert Ed or PGCE
  • A degree or equivalent (including equivalent life/career experience)
  • A clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
