Exciting Opportunity for a Network Professional

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Network professional to join a unique, multi-national Information Management function. Ideal candidates should be committed to leading a team of professionals within the UC space, directing them on best practice for maintenance, support and related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the Unified Communications infrastructure and ensure availability to users.
  • Play a key role in our Telephony and Video Conferencing setup, strategy and management.
  • Solve complex challenges and have a direct impact on the overall resilience of our IT environment.
Requirements
  • Solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, VLANS).
  • Strong expertise in IP Telephony and Video Conference solutions (including fixed line telephony, soft phones and VC appliances).
  • Team player, helping and supporting the wider Information Management team.
  • Understanding of network architectures and security zones (DMZ, internal networks).
  • Proficient in monitoring technologies PRTG, Nagios.
