Job Title: Interim Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Interim Operations Manager to join our client's team on a temporary basis. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing department, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of circa 30 staff members, ensuring timely productions and high-quality standards
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and business costs
  • Work closely with the Managing Director to achieve financial targets
  • Monitor and analyze production performances, identifying areas for improvement
  • Generate and analyze reports and KPIs to enhance performance

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of production experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience in managing large teams, including performance management and recruitment
  • IOSH or equivalent qualification an advantage
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft platforms
