We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Esher. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control and be able to work accurately with manual tools for dimensional inspection.

The salary for this role is estimated at £27,500 per annum, based on the national average for similar positions in the UK. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays and a contributory pension scheme.

Job Description:

  • Perform incoming inspections according to the requirements proposed by SAP
  • Check and update on SAP the batch classification of the inspected material
  • Use the measuring tools accurately
  • Ensure that lots in the segregation area are traceable
  • Inform the Quality Management team in case of noncompliance of the material inspected
  • Undertake any other duties as may be required for the efficient running of the Company

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educated to a minimum of GCSE level in Maths and English
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Able to read technical drawings
  • Knowledge of materials and surface finishing processes
  • Able to use manual tools for dimensional inspection
  • Knowledge of SAP QM
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
