We are seeking a highly skilled Adult Health Practitioner to join our team at North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare NHS Trust.

About the Position

This 12-month fixed-term position is an exciting opportunity to work in Integrated Offender Health Services, providing flexible support across Staffordshire based on skill and service need.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide multi-vulnerability assessments and meet unmet needs, ensuring that individuals in contact with the criminal justice system receive comprehensive care.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement effective care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Notify criminal justice partners about specific health requirements and vulnerabilities for informed decision-making.

Essential RequirementsQualifications:
  • A relevant Nursing or Allied Health Professional degree/diploma qualification or equivalent.
  • Valid registration with the relevant governing body for the profession.
Experience:
  • Experience working with various vulnerabilities, including mental health, physical health, and social issues.
Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of mental disorder assessment approaches.
  • Awareness of harassment, social exclusion, and discrimination effects.
Compensation Package:

£40,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

This role is suitable for registered health professionals. Weekend working is a potential benefit.
