Director of Preclinical Research and Development

**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Director of Preclinical Research and Development to lead our R&D strategy for neurological product development. As a key member of our team, you will oversee preclinical R&D activities, manage a team of researchers, and collaborate with our Chief Medical Officer to provide preclinical pharmacology expertise.

**Responsibilities**

* Lead preclinical R&D activities on a strategic and operational basis
* Manage a team of researchers and oversee the budget
* Generate new pharmacological data to support product development
* Collaborate with third-party research partners
* Review and oversee preclinical regulatory submissions

**Qualifications**

* BSc or PhD in Pharmacology or a related subject
* Strong industry experience in heading up preclinical research
* Excellent knowledge of CNS disease mechanisms and preclinical models
* Experience in scientific contribution to regulatory documents
* Strong project and financial management skills
