About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day marketing activities of the organisation, including online and offline marketing efforts.
  • Develop long-term marketing strategies to meet company objectives.
  • Assist with the development of the marketing function across all channels, making recommendations for improving processes and results.
  • Responsible for the marketing of company products and services to the right market, whether B2B or B2C.
  • Demonstrate technical marketing skills and company product knowledge.
  • Develop an annual marketing plan in conjunction with the sales department, detailing the year's activity to meet agreed company objectives.
  • Budget management, ensuring that all marketing activity is delivered within agreed parameters.
  • Improve the usability, design, content, and conversion of the company website.
  • HTML animation and email design.
  • CMS day-to-day management.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications.

Requirements:

  • Travel industry marketing experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Ideally educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Good awareness of the Tour Operating environment and the travel industry in general.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, negotiating, and presentation skills.
  • Strong creative outlook.
  • Confident and dynamic personality.
  • Experience managing PPC, SEO, and Affiliate programmes.
  • Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practice.
  • Experience in ecommerce SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media.
  • Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role.

The Package:

We offer a competitive salary of £30k-£34k, dependent on experience, along with other benefits such as discounted travel and a company pension scheme. This is a fully office-based role, providing a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced marketer to join our team.
