About the Role

We are seeking an experienced nurse with expertise in mental health or psychiatric background to support the Victims' Payment Board in delivering a clinical assessment service for the Troubles Permanent Disablement Payment Scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet face-to-face and review available medical evidence to determine the permanence of an applicant's condition and percentage disablement.
  • Gather relevant information from applicants, GPs, and other healthcare professionals to support TPDPS applications.
  • Analyse and interpret clinical information, compile comprehensive reports, and provide detailed justifications for decision-making.

Salary Range: £38,500 - £41,400 per year (dependent on experience)
