About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Support Officer to join our Specialist Transformation Team at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide project management support for the transformation delivery programme, ensuring the effective delivery of projects and programmes across specialist services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide project management support for the transformation delivery programme, including coordinating and managing systems and processes to ensure successful delivery.
  • Track and maintain programme continuity, using agreed programme management methodology to control and maintain changes to the transformation delivery programme plan.
  • Coordinate monthly highlight reports to Specialist Services Transformation Boards and provide real-time, comprehensive, and prioritized views of all projects.
  • Responsible for programme logistics, including tracking leave requests for key members of the programme and working with the Transformation Programme Manager to investigate the causes of any variance from target/plan.
  • Authorized signatory for small payments related to programme delivery and work with colleagues at all levels in the Trust to provide training and expertise in project and programme management tools and techniques.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with experience of arranging, attending, and servicing key meetings, including taking formal minutes, and managing small projects and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of a range of work procedures and practices that require a level of expertise, including project management, and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Experience of Excel spreadsheets for manipulating data and advanced knowledge of MS Office packages.
  • Ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision, within defined procedures and parameters, and excellent diary and highly developed time management skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage complex shared programme and project data, using established version control principles, and able to build effective networks with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Use of a car or access to a means of mobility to travel across the Trust footprint in line with service needs and willingness to carry out all duties and responsibilities of the post in accordance with the Trust's Equal Opportunities and Equality and Diversity policies.
