Job Title: PMO Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PMO Manager to join our Enterprise PMO management team within the Group Transformation function at JD Sports. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle governance, assurance, and support services for the Group Transformation change portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an Enterprise PMO strategy to drive delivery success and enhance project planning and reporting.
  • Manage assurance processes to ensure effective change delivery and provide independent assurance on change activities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues across the portfolio to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Lead a team of PMO Analysts to support project and programme teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in PMO management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Strong knowledge of governance and assurance processes, with experience in implementing and managing these processes.
  • Ability to drive improvements in project planning and reporting, with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
