As a Project Cost Manager, you will play a key role in managing the financial aspects of multiple residential developments. This includes preparing, monitoring, and managing project budgets and costs, working closely with site managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure cost efficiency, managing subcontractor procurement, agreements, and payments, handling cost variations, and resolving any financial issues. You will also support the project team in delivering homes on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the residential housebuilding sector, a proven track record of delivering accurate costings and budgets on housing developments, an excellent understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost management processes, and proficiency in relevant Quantity Surveying software and MS Office. A degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field is also essential. In return, you can expect a competitive salary between £45,000 - £55,000, depending on experience, opportunities for career progression within a growing company, and a benefits package including pension and bonus schemes.
